An attractive detached stone cottage with generous accommodation for two people. ‘La Sittelle’ is situated in the gardens of ‘La Fleurière’, a thatched cottage built around 1860.
We acquired the property in 2001. ‘La Sittelle’ was a sad and empty stone dwelling, housing an impressive original Norman fireplace. With the help of French artisans and a little forethought, it was brought back to life in 2002. Today, you will find a comfortable holiday cottage full of character and charm.
The sitting area has comfortable chairs and a coffee table, TV (French terrestrial channels) VCR & DVD player (selection of English films available) there is also a Normandy fireplace and a wood burning stove..
The kitchen/Diner consists of a fitted kitchen, including electric hob, oven and grill there is also a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. All kitchen utensils and crockery. Table and chairs for eating.
Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables. Bed linen is provided.
Shower room reached by open tread staircase. Comprises a shower cubicle, hand basin and W.C.
